Terms of Service

Last updated: April 22, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the YouTube to WordPress Chrome extension ("the extension") and the associated website ("the site"). By installing, using, or subscribing to Pro, you agree to these Terms.

1. License to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the extension. The free tier is free to use without an account. The Pro tier requires a valid, paid license key.

2. Pro subscription

3. Refunds

If you are unsatisfied within the first 14 days of a new Pro subscription, email vidooz@gmail.com for a full refund. After 14 days, subscriptions are non-refundable, but you may cancel to avoid future charges.

4. Your content and third-party services

You are responsible for the content you publish using the extension, including ensuring you have the right to republish a YouTube video as a blog post (most creators do, for their own videos; re-posting other creators' content may violate YouTube's Terms and is your responsibility). The extension uses third-party services — YouTube, WordPress, OpenAI — and you must comply with their terms.

5. AI-generated content

Pro's AI article feature generates text from video transcripts using OpenAI's API. You, as the user with the OpenAI key, own the output under OpenAI's usage policies. We do not claim any rights to generated content. Generated text may contain errors — always review before publishing.

6. Availability and support

We aim for the extension to work reliably, but provide it "as is" without warranties. We reserve the right to update, change, or discontinue features. Active Pro subscribers receive priority email support.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the extension — including lost posts, WordPress errors, AI output accuracy, or third-party service outages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (which is $0 for free-tier users).

8. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate a Pro license for misuse, key sharing, chargeback fraud, or violation of these Terms. Free-tier users cannot be "terminated" — they can simply uninstall the extension.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page and via email for active subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect.
